BioLive with boyfriend (of almost 1 year!) in my very first house (albeit a rentor).
Two beautiful dogs & two sweet (brand new) kittens.
Public health master's in fall.
Still somewhat fitting, but from a year ago:
23.5 years old (for those not mathematically inclined).
Stuck in the middle of a job I could live without, the search for the ever ellusive "perfect" career, and the idealisms of a virtuous life.
Life generally takes on the form of a shopping trip gone awry. Just when the Americans decide to actually sell a product I could see myself using for a lifetime and I find myself addicted to it, upon my next trip to the store of my choice, the item is no longer in stock (and more often than not, has been "discontinued").
(Things really aren't so bad; in fact, they are quite near terrific at this moment. But this is the joy of being in your twenties - everything feels out of place and quite like a mistake you keep apologizing for, but are never relieved from, then suddenly five minutes later, your life changes in one unmistakeable stroke of fate (though I have never been one to completely trust fate with my life).)
I spend my days combatting my laziness or chosen form of gluttony, and hoping that I could only measure up to the expectations that I have placed upon myself. Sometimes, when the stars align, I have epiphanies that give me greater insight into life. And even more so important, sometimes I remember to share them here with you, the reader.
I love new friends. Especially you.
